As part of Refugee Week, I was invited to speak at the launch of Maryhill Integration Network’s new book “Heart of the Home”. It's a recipe book bringing together the diverse cookey culture of Glasgow, and it's stars are local people. 
The cookery book, edited by Wendy Miller, features recipes from Scotland and from the many nationalities now living in Glasgow. It’s a beautifully produced book and a superb celebration of the rich diversity of our city. The launch event also gave eveyone attending a chance to sample the wonderful recipies on offer at Maryhill Community Centre, in Avenuepark Street where the Integration Network is based.
