Ann joins summer barbecue and fete in Glasgow North

Ann McKechin MP and Sister Mary RossI was delighted to take part in the St Peter’s and St Simon’s Church Barbecue in Partick’s Mansfield Park. The weather was kind and the event was a great success – it’s superb to see the new Mansfield Park being used as a real asset for the local community.

We are certainly in the summer fetes and gala day season.

It is surely a sign that we have thriving local communities that so many events are taking place all over the constituency.

Ann McKechin MP with Loretta Boyd, Treasurer of the Holyrood Resident's AssociationI am always pleased to support the many local community groups and enthusiastic individuals who do so much work in our local communities. I am so pleased that the weather has been good for most of the events so far this year.

I also attended the Holyrood Crescent Gardens Summer Fete, organized by the local residents' association, was very busy and the puppet show was very popular with children and adults.
