I’ve been contacted by a constituent in the West End who had faced some unpleasant hard-selling tecnhiques last week. He and his wife were telephoned by a company and then two sales-people called in person to see them. The constituents experienced a very unpleasant response when they indicated that they were not interested in buying the goods. It seems that a number of other local residents in the West End have experienced something similar in the last week or so. The constiutents who contacted me, had already reported the incident to Trading Standards and the local Police. I would stongly urge others to do the same.
